# Deploy Static HTML on Tensel

Connect a GitHub repo and push. The rest is handled. No DevOps required.

## How Static HTML is detected

a static site on the edge, with no build step at all

## From repo to URL

   Import the repository — “tensel github import” or the dashboard — or drop a folder, no git required.

   Tensel detects Static HTML, builds in a disposable virtual machine and publishes an immutable image.

   Your application answers over HTTPS on its tensel.cloud subdomain; every later push redeploys.

## Good to know

- No package.json needed: a folder of files is a deployable site, from the browser or `tensel import`.
- Static sites are served from the shared edge through a European CDN: no container, no cold start, and never billed, on any plan.
