Choose deploybase if everything you deploy is a static site: it does that one thing well, with form handling built in, more git hosts, a hosted MCP server, and a flat €19 plan that undercuts everyone for static-only teams.

## Frequently asked questions

**We only have static sites today. Why pay more?**

Don't. Static sites on Tensel are free on every plan, unlimited, with no metered delivery. The comparison changes the day you add a backend. That is the workload deploybase says it does not run, and the one Tensel is built for.

**Aren't you both making the same sovereignty claim?**

Largely, yes, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise: both platforms are European operators on Scaleway in Paris with European CDNs and documented subprocessors. The difference is what runs behind the claim. Static files there, full applications here.

**They have an MCP server. Where is Tensel's?**

Tensel's answer is skills that drive the CLI: eleven ship in the npm package, they hold no token, and every read command emits documented JSON. There is no hosted MCP server today. It is a different design with the same goal, and it means a credential never leaves your machine.
