Deploy Vite on Tensel
Connect a GitHub repo and push. The rest is handled. No DevOps required.
From commit to production
$ tensel github import acme/vite-appDetected Vite — static site.→ build isolated context, Paris→ rollout 1/1 replicas healthy ✓ https://vite-app.tensel.cloud 38 sHow Vite is detected
- Detection
- the `vite` dependency in package.json, when no server framework matches first
- Runs as
- a static site on the edge, from `dist/`
From repo to URL
- 1
Import the repository — “tensel github import” or the dashboard — or drop a folder, no git required.
- 2
Tensel detects Vite, builds in a disposable virtual machine and publishes an immutable image.
- 3
Your application answers over HTTPS on its tensel.cloud subdomain; every later push redeploys.
Good to know
- Server frameworks that use Vite as a dev tool (Remix, Nuxt…) are matched before this rule, so they build as servers, not as static sites.
- Static sites are served from the shared edge through a European CDN: no container, no cold start, and never billed, on any plan.
