The service

Tensel hosts web applications and static sites: builds from GitHub or from an uploaded folder, execution in isolated containers, domains and certificates, logs and metrics — all in Scaleway's Paris region.

Plans and billing

• Every plan includes an amount of usage equal to its price. For each period you pay whichever is higher: the plan price, or what you actually used at the published unit rates.
• The plan is billed in advance on the anniversary of the day you subscribed. Anything you used above the included amount is billed afterwards, on the following renewal invoice.
• Four things are metered: execution time by instance size, builds started, storage over time, and outbound transfer. Domains, certificates, seven days of runtime logs and the native metrics are included.
• Your service charge before tax is capped by a spend limit you set, which defaults to twice the plan price. We warn you at 50%, 75%, 90% and 100%.
• At the limit, new billable operations stop. Whatever is already running keeps going for up to 24 hours — not charged above the limit — before paid resources are suspended.
• Billing is monthly with no commitment. Included usage you do not spend does not roll over. You can cancel whenever you like, and it takes effect at the end of the period.
• Payments are handled by Mollie B.V. Tensel never stores raw card or bank account details.
• If a payment fails, new billable operations stop while you have seven days to put it right, before the 24-hour countdown to suspension begins. A SEPA debit still clearing is not a failure.

Support

Email support, answered within 2 working days on the Starter plan and 1 working day on Team. Those are commitments to reply. At this stage the service carries no contractual uptime guarantee.

What we ask of you

• The code you deploy is yours, and so is responsibility for it and for its compliance with the law.
• Not allowed: illegal content, cryptocurrency mining, attacks, spam, and anything meant to work around how we measure usage.
• We may suspend an environment that puts the platform or other customers at risk. We will tell you when we do.

Your data, and leaving

You can export your data and configuration in standard formats at any time. When you leave, your data is deleted according to the privacy policy. Your code is yours — we acquire no rights over it.

Governing law

French law governs these terms. Where the French and English versions differ, the French version prevails.

None of this takes away the protections the law of your own country of residence gives you as a consumer.
